The Enchanted Forest is a carefully crafted and embossed silver work, decorated with zirconite stones. The details of the piece reveal a magic world, an imaginary forest full of sprawling vegetation, snakes and snails, nymphs and hidden glances.
The Atlantic Ocean bracelet is a unique piece inspired by the open sea waters around Galicia. It is a special sea: savage, beautiful and restless. A real ocean. A beauty that makes you contemplate, enjoy and respect it.The design of this jewel creates the atmosphere of that sea with its wavering and, at the same time, sharp forms. The shiny polished surfaces contrast with the textured and aged parts, and the white zirconite stones give small sparkles and brilliance to the piece.
This peculiar encounter of textured silver and transparent amethyst symbolizes the irregular south-west coasts of Galicia, the sea inlets where land and water meet.
A spontaneous piece made of fine silver clay; its texture recalls the amazing Galician beaches: the fine sand, the sea urchins and the objects of the shipwrecked.
This piece is inspired in the Fragas do Eume, a subtropical forest, unique in Europe, situated in the north of Galicia. The stone, collected in this forest, is surrounded by silver, in the same way as the branches and the roots embrace the Galician land.
Infinite paths converging and splitting up, until the day you reach the place and the person where and with whom you want to stay.
An imaginary-real journey across the bridges of the Saint James’ Way, through the stones, up to the highest point, where Fisterra can already be seen... far away.
A design inspired during my imaginary journeys in China and by my passion for the Far Eastern architecture.
The second piece of my imaginary journeys, this time to India.
An imaginary journey in the galaxy towards the planet Jupiter and its Galilean moons. A ring made of silver and jet stone, where a single spiral encompasses all: the planetary orbits, the time passing by, and... your finger!
A necklace without a particular meaning, but simply beautiful. The technique plays the main role in this piece. A technique which is characteristic of the silversmith of Santiago de Compostela: the filigree.
The inspiration for this piece comes from a traditional Hungarian beltbuckle, made by a Hungarian artisan. In the present interpretation, the buckle transforms into a demon formed by traditional Hungarian motives and flower ornamentation. It recalls the myth of Árpád, ancient father of the Hungarian homeland, and the ancestral past full of rituals and myths.
The iconography of this masculine bracelet comes from the Insular art: from the medieval miniatures of the manuscript books of Kells and Durrow. An indeterminate creature, under the prism of the artist, becomes a dragon surrounding the wrist, transmitting magic force to its owner.
This piece is inspired in an imaginary game of the author that consists in the idea of a magic aquatic underworld: Santiago de Compostela. A place where there is water everywhere and after every storm skeletons of broken umbrellas lie everywhere like shipwrecked rests, where the inhabitants, floating creatures, develop gills and fins to adapt to this Atlantis. From this environment, a new symbiotic and hybrid being was born, a mixture of bird and fish, adapted to the medium: drifting in the winter rain and floating in the spring showers. A being created by the structure of the streets in Santiago, and by the continuous flow of the rain and the wind. This piece has an abstract secondary interpretation, related to concepts like duality and equilibrium, proceeding from Far Eastern philosophies. The main figure that inspires the design is that of the Siamese fighting fishes, representing for the author the duality between a strong, combative, and at the same time elegant, aerial and free character.
A two-headed, curling snake. The contrast of a simple shape with complex interpretations. Ubiquitous duality, wisdom and fluidity, all in an amulet ring.
A brooch for my brother, representing one of his passions: dancing and playing with fire...
